What is ZENTRA?
ZENTRA is a competitive Counter-Strike 2 platform for players across Europe, similar to FACEIT: ranked 5v5 matchmaking by ELO, parties of up to five players, map veto, automatic game servers, post-match stats, a leaderboard and the mandatory ZENTRA Guard anti-cheat. It was built in the Balkans, where its home community plays.
Is ZENTRA free?
Yes. Matchmaking, stats and the leaderboard are free and will stay free. An optional Premium plan adds deeper match analysis, ELO history and queue priority.
Which countries can play, and where are the servers?
All of them. ZENTRA is open to players from every country in Europe: pick yours when you sign up and your flag shows next to your nickname. Players from outside Europe are welcome too, they'll just have higher ping. Matches run on dedicated CS2 servers in the EU, starting with Vienna and Frankfurt, and more regions are added as the player base grows. You pick your regions before you queue.
How do ELO and levels work?
Every player starts at 1000 ELO (Level 4). After each match you gain or lose between 5 and 45 ELO depending on how strong your opponents were: beating a stronger team earns more. Your ELO places you in one of 10 levels, from ION (Level 1) to SINGULARITY (Level 10, 2001+ ELO), and teams are balanced so their average ELO is as close as possible.
What is ZENTRA Guard and is it required?
ZENTRA Guard is a free app for Windows 10/11 (64-bit) that runs in the background while you play and tells the server it is active. It is required: without an active Guard you can't queue, and neither can your party. Guard checks whether known cheating and debugging tools are running; it doesn't read your files or send personal data.
How do I report a cheater?
In the match room or on the player's profile, click “Report player”, pick a reason (cheating, toxicity, griefing…) and describe what happened. Moderators review every report. When a player is banned for cheating, their opponents get back the ELO they lost in matches against them.
How do I get started?
Sign in with Steam, choose a nickname and your country, install ZENTRA Guard and click “Find match”. Your first match is usually only a couple of minutes away.
Is ZENTRA affiliated with Valve?
No. ZENTRA is an independent platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike and CS2 are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
